If the person making the request wishes to receive the information by means of an alternative means of access, they should also specify how the information is to be presented in a way that is convenient for them. The public body should comply with the request without delay and no later than 7 days from the date of the request. Where it is not possible to comply with this time limit, the public body shall inform the requester without delay when it will be possible to comply with the request, but this time limit shall not be longer than 2 months from the date of the request. If digital accessibility cannot be provided, the public body may offer an alternative means of accessing the information. Where a public body refuses to comply with a request for accessibility or an alternative means of accessing the information, the requester may lodge a complaint about the digital accessibility of the website, mobile application or element of the website or mobile application. After exhausting the procedure indicated above, an application may also be made to the Ombudsman.
