In the years 2020-2022, the "Kulstruktura" Student Research Club operated on a small, faculty scale, mainly focusing on animating student life, and its members were primarily involved in theatre clubs operating at the Faculty. From the 2022/2023 academic year, with the appointment of a new board and the reorganisation of the Club into the Inter-Faculty Cultural Studies Research Club ‘Kulstruktura’ and through cooperation with the local company VRCentrum, students gained new tools for implementing cultural studies projects. They have gained access to a set of ten VR goggles, a camera and computer equipment for processing digital materials, which has enabled students to explore the field of new virtual reality technologies. In the 2022/2023 academic year, this resulted in the organisation of several public screenings of a VR film devoted to the subject of whisperers, entitled "Szepty" (Whispers), directed by Jacek Nagłowski, as well as film workshops with the film's creator.
In the same year, students also organised self-study workshops on creating virtual spaces using materials available on the "Horyzonty Zdarzeń Wirtualnych" (Virtual Event Horizons) platform.
The students continued their initiatives related to cultural animation using VR in the 2023/2024 academic year. This time, in addition to the VR film, they also presented their own production in the form of a virtual educational tour of Jerzy Nowosielski's works in the Parish of Divine Providence in Wesoła. This original project required a photo shoot using a 360-degree camera and editing the material according to a pre-determined script. In the same academic year, senior students shared their practical knowledge of creating tours with younger students, which resulted in a short educational tour of cultural studies gallery run by the Faculty.
In addition to developing their skills in the cultural use of VR technology, the club members actively participated in the life of the faculty by getting involved in the animation of events during open days or the creation of promotional materials for the faculty, e.g. a photo shoot. Another example of the students' activity was a trip to the TVP headquarters and participation – as an active audience – in the recording of two episodes of the philosophical programme "KRONOS" produced by the August Count Cieszkowski Foundation.
In the 2024/2025 academic year, students continue their activities in VR, working on new projects and exploring the possibilities of using VR technology in both cultural animation and cultural studies. The result of the club's activities was a virtual walk entitled "The Mystery of the Garden at Night", which described the signs of the zodiac based on sculptures in the Branicki Garden in Białystok.
In 2025/2026, students will expand their activities to include a film section, which aims to deepen analysis and discussion about cinema. They also continue to create cultural initiatives such as "Embrace Culture", which aims to integrate students and staff within the faculty, a series of travelling lectures for high school students from Podlasie entitled ‘Involved in Culture,’ and the organisation of author evenings and cultural events.
